Kind - Albus Severus ✔️
Albus Severus Potter was sorted into Slytherin, much to his brother's glee and his dismay. Still, the more time he spends there, the more he feels like he belongs. His parents are proud of him, he loves school, and everything seems to be going well. Until he meets Malfoy's younger sister.
Orion Malfoy seems to be your usual Slytherin girl. She hates 'Potter's spawn' and mudbloods, even though blood prejudice isn't so big anymore. She skips homework and plays as a chaser on the Quidditch team, only because she's just as mean as the guys.
Privately, Orion is tired. She's tired of pretending to be who she isn't, but she feels that she needs to live up to her family name, even if her brother won't. She finds herself seeking solitude more and more as her fifth year wears on.
Albus doesn't believe the facade Orion puts up like everyone else does. He watches her eyes more than anything else, because they tell the truth. When she lashes out at him, he only responds kindly because he knows that she just wants a friend.
The only question is whether or not Orion will let her walls down for one of the Potter boys. Albus only wants her to be happy, and he thinks that by seeing who she really is, he can at least try. Can a Malfoy and a Potter really work?
I don't own Harry Potter. All rights go to J. K. Rowling. Orion is mine, as are any other characters that are not mentioned, and I own their plots.
