The Impossibility of the Stars (Hiatus)
Something happened to Deserae Farren last year. Something that she won't talk about. There's no reason to. She's fine. Fine with living her life vicariously through a novel, through her music, through endless hours of gazing out at the sky, trying to imagine what it would be like to fly away from everything. Or, better yet, to become the sky, to be swallowed up in the blackness and folded into the shimmering stars.
But there is a voice gnawing at the back of her mind that won't be drowned out, screaming, pleading incessantly with her to remember. And she can't forget anymore.
"You can't keep hiding."
"I can't be found, either."
