The Girl In The Woods
When Gabe finds Ainslie on the ground and almost dead, he instantly finds himself being protective of the lady. When his family takes her to Juneau he offers to stay with her because she tells him she has no family.
She finds herself feeling safe after a near death experience. She had been trying to hide from her angry grandmother who was never home, and when she was home she verbally abused Ainslie. While trying to find some shelter, she had accidentally stumbled across a mother bear with a set of playful cubs.
Finally along came a handsome man in a white tank top, whom became---all too quickly---her safe haven; her port in a storm.
