Working With Red
"Please, Roy. . . help me to forget her; help me to defeat her."
After her mother, Pamela Isley, is put away (once again) into Arkham Asylum, 17 - year - old (Y/N) decides to take her life into her own hands. Refusing to play a part in her mother's old "line of work", (Y/N) seeks the help of someone who helped work to bring her mother down - Oliver Queen. Along with his hot-headed protégé Roy Harper, (Y/N) is taken in by the group and trained to fight like an Arrow.
Because (Y/N) has no powers of her own, she soon develops special skills that she acquires during her training with the Arrows, and seeks to impress Green Arrow along the way. She also works to gain the trust of one Roy Harper, who is still on the fence about trusting (Y/N) because of her familial background.
But, is trust all that (Y/N) hopes to gain from the Archer in Red? Or, does she seek something deeper; something more meaningful?
I don't own any of the DC characters, but any drawings, other characters - Tiger Lily, the Council of Wings, etc. - and storyline are all MY original works.
This is a Red Arrow X Reader.
