The Final Girl
When Roosevelt High's AP Environmental Science class goes on a three-day camping trip to Bear Creek Ridge in the isolated wilderness of Northern California, Ripley Gutierrez does not think that anything spectacular will occur. Maybe some lessons about sustainability or whatever. It is safe to say that she is wrong about that because at least three spectacular things occur:
1. Wesley Novak, her brother's best friend and her worst nightmare, comes on the trip, even though, at age nineteen, he is old and decrepit and totally not in high school anymore.
2. Tia Winston falls into a river, which is quite amusing because, well, Tia Winston is a bitch.
3. A masked murderer suddenly (and quite dramatically) appears, whereupon he starts picking off the high school students one by one.
It is safe to say that Ripley is neither pleased nor amused.
