A girl named Victory
Victoria, eighteen years old, and already knows how to run a kingdom. She's next in line for the throne of Rosemoore. Her mother is the queen, loved by all in the kingdom.
Victoria has been taught since birth about how to rule a kingdom and be a gracious ruler. But she would much rather become a Tracker, those who hunt the animals in the woods by the kingdom, but Victoria knows that it is nothing more than a fanciful dream.
When Victoria's coronation day draws near, she accidentally learns about the Queen's advisor, Evelyn's, plot to kill the Queen and Victoria and take the throne for herself.
Upon learning this information, Victoria is in greater danger than she realizes, for Evelyn is not all that she seems.
Evelyn is aware of Victoria's knowledge, and sends her huntsmen to kill Victoria.
But Victoria escapes into the woods, where she meets seven Trackers who agree to take her in.
But the plot thickens, involving rebels, a prince in disguise, a poison apple, and a glass coffin.
