Josh Dun is in love with two people.
One, a quiet man with a passion for music. Soft, reserved, and incessantly haunted by a past he can't remember. His hands are as gentle as his voice. The only time he ever lifts his head up is when he has an instrument in his hands and is singing. Though he made up mostly of insecurities and doubt, he can find one person to shelter him from the fear in his own mind. Josh.
The other is a bold man, with a deep hatred towards all people, but a deep love for Josh. He is rash and angry for most of his conscious time. He has no sympathy or regard for others, bitter and beaten down from dealing with the world for too long. But his hard edges soften and his fences go down around his lover, giving Josh a peak at a scared and broken man who simply needs a hand to hold.
The two men have never met. Josh knows to keep them separate or it could throw their little worlds for a dark spin. But when the survival of one depends on the other, Josh decides to take on the task of coaxing the two together.
But how do you introduce one man to another when they share the same body?
