A day before the last day of school and her birthday, Emery's dad sent military men to pick her up early from school because that is the day she was supposed to see him. Emery hadn't seen her dad since she was 10 years old and now she is 16 and barely remembers the the last time she saw him.
That day, when Emery arrived at her dad's military Academy in Pennsylvania, her dad reminded her of her "survival mode" from the last time she saw him. With a chip in her brain holding the true memories of her past, Emery unlocks a hidden side of her that can only be unleashed from the people she loves. Suddenly, Emery becomes a new person and the survival mode kicks in. Instead of being the nice, smart, and enthusiastic person everyone loves at her school, Emery becomes an impatient, wise, fighting machine that can take down anyone in seconds even Ian; the strongest, but most annoying boy in her father's military school.
Just as Emery thinks her life can't get anymore annoying, when she gets back to school, she is sucked into a game where in each round you can end up anywhere and they can make you do anything, even kill other players. The craziest thing of all is that Emery has to play this insane game with a Jerk from her school, her secretive trainor Ian, her boyfriend Liam, and her new "could have been more" neighbor Jake. What will Emery do in her final round when the only thing they have to do is choose someone to kill. Even if Emery only should be thinking of her own survival, what will she do about everyone else.
Warning- I wrote this book two to three years ago and then tried to write more. So the grammar and writing style isn't as good as what I can do now. I then also realized that this book has a lot of issues, but thank you if you read it anyway.
