The Living Embodiment of Hell
"Look!" I awkwardly twisted my arm to point at my shoulder blades. "Mommy says, my angel wings shall grow here!" I stuck my tongue out with effort, and twisted my arm back to it's normal position. I sighed, and slouched.
"Is that so?" The boy asked, slinging his head over his shoulder to inspect his own. He looked like a dog, chasing his tail. I grabbed the back of his shirt, and lifted it high enough to see his own shoulder blades.
"You have them too." I traced a cold, small finger over his non-existent 'angel wings'. He shivered slightly at the touch. "Right here."
Alice Liddell. This was me, round about 5 years old. I was innocent and naive. But I wasn't lying. Well, in some cases.
I might have been naive, but I sure wasn't oblivious. I had told the boy about when I had seen my mother. I was so sure she was an angel. The role model of my childhood explained, that I too will have wings.
I'm not an angel. In fact, I'm probably worse. Precisely the opposite.
I was denied entry into both Heaven and Hell, when I died. Shinigami's ran in the other direction. Granting me eternal life.
The reincarnate of pure evil.
But, I prefer the living embodiment of hell.
DISCLAIMER: I do not own any characters featured in Kuroshitsuji. The game Alice : Madness Returns, I thought they would be a good mix. Might not look the same, but slightly similar powers, name and back story. Don't sue me, I like my life. <3
