Aneksi, known as Neferkempi to her beloved, is the most recent addition to the Pharaoh's harem and quite possibly the Nile's new Queen.

With the coronation ceremony only months away, the wives of the Pharaoh will stop at nothing to have themselves seated on the golden throne beside their husband as Great Royal Wife.

Blood will be spilled and lies will be told in the race to become Queen of Egypt.

I wish I can write something like that... I love historical fiction.

This is so beautifully written and you made us feel and even 'see' everything that was going on in this chapter. I feel her pain, being the odd one out sucks, even now. It's a really good story. I love the length, the style, the description and basically everything. Thank you for writing this :P

Really nice start. As long as you have time and inspiration style sure doesn't lack in your writing so I am personally looking forward to this story. The synopsis got me completely hooked.

Constructive criticism: explain and/or describe the scenery more, and in very vivid detail. I feel as if this chapter could have occurred in any modern household's bedroom, not in the royal bed chambers of a royal pharaoh of ancient Egypt.

I admire the writing style as well as the general plot line. Also the way you portray the pharoah as a family man is somewhat an alien concept to me due to the ever related stigma and negativity surrounding his actions against the Jews.
