I struggled against the cold, rough rope binding my arms behind me and strained against the chair wrapping me in chain and rope. It seemed the more I struggled the tighter my chains became. I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing came out. The chain around my neck held fast to the chair, jutting my face forward and the blindfold secured around my eyes ensured my lack of vision.
I heard a heavy clutter behind me and arched my back, attempting, once again, to free myself. The clutter ensued, followed by footsteps. Slowly, they made their way towards me and my pulse doubled. The footsteps stopped and a deep chuckle rang though the room. I struggled against my bonds but it was of no use. I opened my mouth but the gag prevented any noise from escaping.
The man laughed again, sending spurts of adrenaline through my blood. I felt my cheeks redden. He slowly bent down and whispered in my ear, "Enjoying this?" He paused, "Don't worry, we have only just begun."
