~ Entered in the BlackButlerWA awards ~ Now known publicly as the Marchioness of Whitehall among the aristocracy, Isabelle lives in her own grand manor, solely runs her father's distinguished company and works closely with 'the Queen's Guard Dog' on his cases to catch criminals. It's all very good fun! She lives easily and peacefully, hardly ever disturbed. That is, until, she receives a letter from her close friend and said 'Guard Dog', Ciel Phantomhive. She had been invited to attend a party hosted at his manor and nonchalantly agrees, surprisingly eager to see her friend without having to discuss murder, kidnapping or why Sebastian can't just do these jobs by himself. The occasion goes rather smoothly. Well, that is until a filthy noble begins to shamelessly harass the party guests and then ends up dead a few hours later. Now, this would usually be no issue, especially while within the manor of the Phantomhives. However, the problem is: Both the door and the window were locked on the time of the murder and they both only lock from the inside. And the other little problem is: Only Ciel and Isabelle were separate from the other guests during that specific time and were both consequently accused of the being the perpetrators. God, the trouble you can get into for going to bed on time! * * * * * ((If you haven't read the first story - Book Of Circus: His Shadow - I highly recommend you read that first!))
