In Ethium, there is the Slayer Society, highly brilliant and adept swordsmen from all corners of the world. Every year the Slayer Society holds the Slayer trials in which ordinary people have the chance to become a Slayer. People, old and young, travel days upon days to get to the grounds in which the trials take place. Becoming a Slayer is the dream in the world of Ethium. But then there's Rena, a hot headed impulsive young woman who's swept into the trials by mistake.
After passing the trials with her hidden talent, Rena is offered a spot as the apprentice to one of the major Slayers in the society, plunging her deeper into a world full of swords, monsters, and criminals. With her partner Leo by her side, she travels across all of Ethium, helping those in need of a Slayer.

My lips press against his and in that moment I feel him tense as my mouth moved on its own account. I smile as I let go of his shirt and step back with one of my smirks plastered over my face.
"Rena." My smile drops when I see the expression on his face. He moves in closer to me and gently touches my cheek. Then, he kisses me.
And I let him.
