And (to ruin the sweet moment) would not wake up ever again because that's how the human body works. Loving the book itself don't get me wrong but it would be better to lower the amount of days awake to a humanly possible level, say 3-5 days. Although, five is also pushing it a little.

Have you ever heard of the Russian Sleep Experiment?? It is humanly impossible to stay up that long without some sort of drug to keep you awake, and as soon as you fell asleep after that you would not wake up.
