Melded- An Academy/Divergent Fanfiction (ON...
Sangrida Sorenson is Abnegation. She spends her days trying to fit into the selfless Abnegations crowd, just trying to get to the day of the Choosing Ceremony. She's the product of indiscretion, of her father raping a young, Erudite woman. Because of that, her stepmother hates her, and her father pretends she doesn't exist. To keep that dirty little secret hidden away, they want her to stay in Abnegation.
Sangrida, despite her stepmother's warnings, chooses Dauntless.
Being Divergent in a world of organized people is an anomaly. Instead of getting one faction on her Aptitude Test, she got all five. Amity, Abnegation, Candor, Dauntless, and Erudite.
So, when Sangrida has the choice to change her name, she does. She's Sang.
Put into a dorm room with seven other new recruits, this becomes so much more than just a normal initiation. This becomes a dangerous game of hearts.
She loves them.
They love her.
It's so wrong, but they're so right. And, together, they can show the world that factions do mix. And people can't be sorted.
But, they'll have to get through Jeanine Matthews first.
"We believe in freedom from fear, in ordinary acts of bravery, in defending those who cannot defend themselves. We believe that cowardice is to blame for the world's injustices. We believe that peace is hard-won, that sometimes it is necessary to fight for peace." ~Dauntless Manifesto
"Intelligence is a gift, not a right. It must not be wielded as a weapon but as a tool for the betterment of others. Knowledge is the only logical solution to avoid conflict. Intelligence should be used for the betterment of society." ~Erudite Manifesto
