Counting: Book 1

Blake had lived on the streets for his entire life. He never went to school, and he never had a job, except one: he is a thief, and a pretty good one at that. He has lived his life as a free man and travelling around the country without commitments. To him a relationship is a trap, and he's planning to stay free.

Blake is ready to move on to another city, when he finds a rich house, and comes up with a careful plan to rob it. His little scheme works, but there's just a tiny detail that he had missed while making his plans, and he is almost ready to give up.

But then he ends up stumbling on something that is truly worth stealing for - something that he never believed he could possibly want - but it's not an easy task, when he is set out to steal something from the time itself.

This is a story of a thief, who robbed the wrong house, and a painter who has a weird obsession about time.

Why don't all thieves do this.
Be polite and put purses in the lost and found
The docs in the purse are usually so important 😓
I love this book. It was the first one I thoroughly enjoyed on Quotev. You inspired me to start writing and it's a shame you're not on the site anymore. This deserves way more popularity!

I love how much planning goes into each heist—in most stories like this, the thief simply struts into a house and miraculously gets away with it, which makes them seem extremely unrealistic.
The guy on the bottom of the cover looks like Bill Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel when he was younger.
