All That Glitters
Elizabeth Baxter is a wide-eyed small-town girl from the Mid-West who has come to Los Angeles to realise her dreams of becoming an actress.
However, six months after arriving, all she's managed is a job at a trendy restaurant in West Hollywood, and a walk-on part of a background shot in a made for television movie where you can't even see her face.
When her best friend tells her about an open casting for women aged 21-25, she makes the call and goes to a house in the Hills where she is surrounded by the same beautiful wannabe actresses Hollywood is renowned for chewing up and spitting out, and she grows doubtful that this life is for her, considering heading home to Wyoming.
But, after an awkward and confusing audition, Elizabeth is told right there and then that she has the gig, much to her surprise.
Enter the infamous and impossible rock star, Joey Crawford; Hollywood royalty. For the last few months, Joey has been on a downward spiral into a self-destructive danger zone, and his management team want him to clean up his act before Hollywood, his adoring fans, and the rest of the world wipes him for good.
Elizabeth's new role may not be in front of the camera, but it's definitely one that will thrust her into the proverbial spotlight of Hollywood, and, change her life forever.
