Calliope is the turning age to find her mate. What she doesn't expect is it to be Dillon Richards, Origin Pack's freshly inducted Alpha, when Calliope gains her sixth sense. They have never gotten along for various reasons. While Calliope struggles through her newfound bond, the Criminals are beginning to make themselves known attacking wolves in their homes, destroying property, even kidnapping. The problem? They are being lead by Trevin Hood, the almost unstoppable Alpha-turned-Criminal who escaped the Prison last year. And now he is headed toward Origin.
__

"What the hell were you thinking?" Dillon all but shouts at me. His chest is heaving from running, probably searching for me. "You can't just disappear like that without telling anyone where you're going!"
"You don't give a shit how any of this is affecting me so stop acting like you care," my voice cracks before finishing in a whisper, "Just. Stop."
His head snaps up, jaw clenched tight. I had begun to shiver again but the look he gives me makes me stop and we just stare at each other for a moment. Only the sound of rain fills the silence. Dillon's intense honey brown eyes flicker downwards and a different expression takes over his face. Before I have time to process what it is, he has closed the distance between us, grabbing me by the back of the neck until I am right in front of him.
"You're wrong."

Thank you! I sure hope it lives up to expectations. I need to write more for it now that I've settled back down for holidays. Oh, and comment away ;)
