letters // matty healy
matty bought himself endless amounts of pink envelopes, paper, and a packet of black pens. avery was confused as to who he would write to; she never thought it would be her.
At first glance it didn't look like a letter, especially addressed to her. But there was no mistaking even in the dim lighting of the kitchen, the messy, illegible, and drunken sentences. each envelope read the same two words, 'open when...'. It was written in black ink, in a very peculiar manner which was hard to read. but for some reason, no matter how they were written or how long ago they were from, avery couldn't bare to throw them away.
or get over the thoughts of who was once hers.
