The Druids were a hunted people long ago...they made a pact to scatter their children throughout time to keep them safe from the massacre to come. These children became lost, both in time and in the memories of people. At first they were looked for but now they have become legend...
Firstly her brother turns out to be her brother in law and her sister in law is her sister. But when tantrums failed to get you noticed any longer. And the one person who could see you for yourself chooses someone else then is there really a reason to go on any longer?

This is book 5 in my Highland series, all of my other works in this series can be found on my profile. Highland Dream (Book 1), Highland Supplanter (Book 2), Highland Strength (Book 3) and Highland bear (Book 4). I would suggest reading these before this book for some context with the story.

She is a bitter, depressed woman. She needs some love and after it soften her up a bit, I think I'd start to like her.

You had my sympathy at some points with Larenas past but lost me at others. But I can see that from her own perspective that the loneliness and those around her force her to be the way that she is. Looking forward more.

It's a shame that what she learnt was the opposite to what she was taught.

I can see where she's coming from for a six year old, but Isla is a force to be reckoned with, she rocks.

A chapter that describes the turmoil she's going through perfectly, a great starting point for this book. I find myself very excited to read the next chapter.
