Talen is stuck living with parents who blame him for something that clearly wasn't his fault. But four years ago, the summer of Freshman year... the unthinkable happened. The events that took place the night he snuck out for a party when he was suppose to be watching his younger sister were unfathomable. He never meant for them to happen, and he'd it give up everything if it meant he could go back to that moment and stay home that night. His parents immediately blamed him even though they were out getting drunk, leaving a young rebellious 14 year old in charge. But the guilt really starts when he sneaks out again, only to find that when he comes home his sister is no longer there. Even with his parents in the next room, they blame him for what happened. Because of all the events that occurred, inside him there has been a deep seed planted with the need to control. He needed control, he needed trust, and he needed honesty because that is everything he needed the two nights that mentally wrecked him but didn't receive. His life revolves around those three things, and when he meets the tall and handsome Alexandr Ferrera he is put to the test. Alexandr constantly challenges him, and changes everything he's ever believed. Will Alexandr have the strength to make Talen's self-loathing and closed off heart change? Will Talen finally understand the truth?
