But when reality comes crashing down on her, she crumbles. Now Samantha and mother are on the streets with only a few bills in their pocket, empty bellies and a lot of weight on their shoulders.  

With her mother's health quickly getting worse each day and her life getting trampled to the ground, she is starting from the dust. She has no prince charming to come galloping into her life and sweeping her off feet and making all her problems disappear or a billionaire that takes pity on her and helps her to her feet.

Writing a memoir at only fifteen years old has taught me a lot. Giving me the time to reflect on the lessons I learned the hard way and the mistakes I've made thus far.
