The Tattooed Princess
Every person in the kingdom of Norith has a small tattoo on their left wrist, and one on the back of their neck.
Each tattoo was genetically put onto each person's skin.
The tattoo on your wrist tells you your assigned job. But two people have matching tattoos on the back of their necks. They're each other's perfect match.
It's required by law to do you assigned jobs, no matter how much you hated it or wished for another one, you were stuck with it. Also it is required to get married to your perfect match.
Most people find love with their perfect match, but what if you didn't?
So when Brooke has to travel to the castle for her new job, she finds her perfect match, but he wasn't exactly what she was expecting, and must fight her way to stop their corrupted way, and let people make their own choices.
"But I don't want you to go!" My little sister Katie sobbed into my chest.
"I know," I said stroking her hair, "I don't want to either."
On my wrist, the tattoo of a crown seemed to taunt me. It meant I had to work at the palace.
As soon as you turned eighteen you had to start work. Most people got to work and not leave home, but since my job was at the palace, I sort of had no choice.
My sister had a heart on her wrist meaning her job was a doctor, but she was only ten, and still had eight more years.
My mother had an apple meaning she was a teacher and my dad had tooth meaning he was a dentist. How is it that I end up with the bad job?
