Leia Illyria, Duchess of Amareth, and her family have kept away from court since she was little, for reasons she doesn't fully understand - in Myaengaer, where magic has been banned for two hundred years, Leia possesses extraordinary power. When a mysterious and evil threat that has lain dormant for two centuries begins to rise again, Leia learns a secret which forces her to confront her hidden self, with the help of Prince Caleth, heir to the throne of Myaengaer and leader of the Myaen Guard. Working together, they must face down the evil that threatens to destroy the kingdom, the land and their lives.

Whoa the way you wrote this is really unique, and I love it. Probably one of the best prologues I've read to a story, as you made it sort of mysterious by not giving too much away... which is why I'm gonna continue reading this!

I am a big fan of the King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table having read the original stories, so needless to say this intro caught my attention. I also liked how you used actual historical references such as Wessex.

i love how you started with a quote and managed to give a brief background in the prologue! you didnt reveal much, and this left me wanting more!

@A_ColourfulDreamer Lol.
                              The beginning where you mentioned King Arthur & Camelot, I started giggling because of that movie. This prologue is probably the most hooking one I've seen so far, keep up the good work!

I only read the prologue and I am already sucked into your story! I love the writing behind it, your story is like a work of art. YOu should really think of publishing it, as I would buy a copy of this book!!!
