A Glimpse from the book:
She stared at him as he was leaning against the hood of his black car, conversing with his group of friends, wondering what he was thinking in that moment.
She was very curious about him and the secrets he held, if he had any of course, and his hidden from the world personality he kept for himself and the ones he had close, the real him. She knew for sure that what most people believed him to be and what he showed to them, wasn't the whole truth.
And that, because, even though she didn't knew why, he had slipped up with her and revealed to her a little part of himself the little times they spent together and talked, and what she saw, was nothing like what she thought he would be and that intrigued her.
Just like he was sencing her eyes on him, he turned his head around and his cold emotionless eyes met her warm ones. He watched as her breath got stuck on her lungs for a moment and her eyes fell on her hands that held loosely a beer bottle, only for them to return back again and find his.
She sent a small smile in his way that cought him of guard, which when he saw, a weird feeling found it's way in his stomach that let him confused.
He scrunched his eyebrows looking at her and after a few seconds he turned his head back straight and rejoined the conversation his friends were holding and leaving the thoughts of her behind.
