Wynter Jacobs believed that for her whole life she was born and raised on Earth, there was not a doubt in her mind about it. She believed that when she was younger she was involved in an accident that left her with no memory of the life she lived before the day she awoke in the middle of nowhere.

However, when Wynter and her friends find a god-like man in a slightly similar situation to her, questions and doubts form in her head. Especially when this man calls her a name she feels she knows; tells her that there is a reason why her eyes focus on three stars that shine so brightly in the sky at night; a reason why they connected and bonded so easily and that she is also the reason that the day of which he was banished from his home was called the day of Winter's Exile.
