It's high school, and Dan has always been home schooled. When he gets to his new school as a freshman, he is instantly pushed aside as an outcast.
The whole reason he was put into public school was his parents were moving away to live with his grandfather who was sick.
So, he was to live with his dad's friend who also had a son his age.
Phil was also an outcast, but he got along alright in school. Having to live with Phil and Phil's dad who was gone half the time, Dan and Phil get to know each other quite well.
They soon bond over many things and Dan realizes he has feelings for Phil. But will Phil feel the same way? Will it work out? Or will Dan find someone else through the ups and downs?
This is my first Phan-fiction. Reading other ones gave me ideas. I just wanted to try it, let's see how/if this works out!

Okay but like I go to public school, and it's nothing like any books or movies explain it. There's no popular hierarchy that gets into fights and bullies all who are below them, maybe it's because there are only 300 students in the high school, or that we're connected to middle and elementary
That was my elementary school, but the elementary school I want to wasn't a public school 😂

I'm taking Algebra 2 and Geometry right now as a Sophomore (and I'm ahead of my grade). Why are they learning Algebra 2 as a freshman?
I have a science project that we were given three weeks ago due tomorrow and I haven't started.... in here instead
That's why I learned to bring my own water bottle my friend.
