Holding Onto Tyler
Tyler Joseph is a somewhat cliché 16 year old outcast. He’s been struggling with self harm and severe depression for most of his adolescent life. Ever since his parents split up, things have only got worse. Tyler, his mother and elder brother have had to move around too many times to remember, just to avoid his abusive father. Finally, the Joseph family settle down into a relatively nice town in Ohio, where he is set to meet someone who will change the course of his life forever.
Joshua Dun is a somewhat cliché punk-rocker. With his bright blue mohawk and illegal tattoos- people like Tyler would certainly be none the wiser but to avoid Josh and his crowd; but of course, Tyler just can’t help himself.
