Look, I didn't know I was a witch.

I didn't know that the Harry Potter world was real. I didn't know that I possessed powers Voldemort wanted.

All my life I thought HP was a children's book series and Harry was a brave guy with a scar and Dumbledore was a complicated person and Hermione was a know-it-all and Draco didn't have a choice and Ron was our king and Voldemort was a bald, noseless guy.

I didn't know that somewhere in the universe, alongside normal muggle life, it was actually happening. So naturally when Rubeus Hagrid hands me my letter of Third year, my reply was, "Are you kidding me?"

But he was not.

Then somehow I was time travelled back to 1994 and I started changing the foretold.

Because, after all, I was the Girl of the second prophecy.

I was meant to stop the war.
