Amisra has lived seventeen years without ever meeting any man, but she knows it's a matter of time before she faces-and kills-one. Life as a warrior in a segregated and hostile world guarantees her fate. But just days after being appointed a guardian of her land, she finds herself at the mercy of enemies unknown to her, and others she recognizes all too well: her guardian sisters.

Escaping from the cunning leader of her captors won't be easy. Nor will dealing with Fuse, a vengeful young man who provokes her anger as easily as he stirs dangerous feelings in her heart. But Amisra faces her biggest challenge when she learns that her captors wish to undo the world she has sworn to protect, a world she begins to question the farther away she travels from her city walls.

This was also the very first book I've ever read on Wattpad, and around last year when I went to look for it is wasn't available and I was so disappointed! I just thought about it again today and decided to see if it was available again and I'm so glad! This is one of my favorite books
