Nora never wanted much. Just a steady home. Simple days. A life that held its shape.

She didn't crave excitement or change. She only needed predictability. Her routines, her quiet, her small world. It was enough.

She believed that if she kept everything perfectly still, the life she had built would hold. And for a long time, it did.

But when the ground finally shifted under her feet, Nora didn't move with it. She froze in place, the way people do when they have no other direction to turn.

Because where does a person go when they have nowhere to go?

Love, Lies, And Lacerations

42 parts Ongoing

When newlywed couple Liam and Wren, expecting their first child, lose their home to a devastating fire, they're forced to seek refuge with Wren's best friend Ruby. As they settle into Ruby's home, the facade of their friendship begins to crack, revealing a complex web of secrets, lies, and unresolved trauma. Ruby's fixation on Liam grows stronger, and she starts to blur the lines between reality and fantasy, convincing herself that their friendship is something more. Meanwhile, Liam remains clueless, grateful for Ruby's hospitality and genuinely believing she's a true friend. Wren, however, is increasingly uneasy, sensing that something is off about Ruby's behavior. As the days turn into weeks, the tension escalates. Ruby's baby's father, a man with a dark past, reappears, stirring up old wounds. A mysterious figure from Wren's past lurks in the shadows, waiting to strike. Ruby's actions become more erratic, fueled by a toxic mix of jealousy, resentment, and a desperate need for control. Wren, meanwhile, is teetering on the edge. The stress of her pregnancy, the pressure of her failing marriage, and the suffocating dynamics of her friendship with Ruby are pushing her to a breaking point. Her anger and frustration simmer just below the surface, waiting to boil over into something violent. The question is no longer if she'll snap, but who will bear the brunt of her rage when she does.
