It's almost offensive how effortlessly he's reading me.
"And I think you're awfully confident for someone who literally knows nothing about me", is my snappy answer, and I grip the strap of my bag tighter, hoping for it to miraciously steady my twirling mind.
For a long moment, our footsteps are the only sounds reverberating from the concrete walls. What kind of maze is this? How long have we been walking? A minute? Five? Three hours? Time seems to both stand still and pass by way too fast in his presence.
"True." Oh thank God, he's still talking to me. And then: "I'd like to change that."

One moment, I'm just another face in the crowd at a Stray Kids concert - the next, I'm standing on stage next to eight K-Pop stars, forgetting how to breathe when Hyunjin's gaze collides with mine.
(Spoiler alert: Thankfully, I eventually remember how breathing works - otherwise, that would be a rather short and uneventful story for you to read.)

What begins as a Stay meeting her idol spirals into a whirlwind of emotions, blurred boundaries, and an unexpected connection neither of us sees coming. Now, I'm trapped somewhere between fantasy and reality, trying to figure out if what I feel is real - or if I'm making it into more than it actually is.
