After suffering a massive heartbreak, Sebastian Reid decided that it’s time to move on and start a new life: a low-profile teenager/schoolboy life, no more Mr. Popular, no more Mr. Right. And the only way to do that is to leave his family in Melbourne and settle with his dad –whom he had never met before –in Los Angeles. However, luck is really not on his side as he imprints the same reputation on his new schoolmates, the one identical to his Australian life and the one he wished not to experience again. Standing out of the crowd, mainly because of his accent (of course :D), good looks, athleticism, and an interesting yet mysterious personality, he would immediately win the heart of many girls, including Mariah Lavalle –the school’s sweetheart. Something about her is different compared to the other girls, though; she looks a lot like her…no, she’s EXACTLY like her. Realizing that he is actually falling head-over-heels for Mariah, Seb does not deny it. But what would he do once he finds out that his past and his present are very much related? Would the incredible distance between LA and Melbourne prevent the history from repeating itself? Or would he experience a déjà vu? Who is this girl in his past and how would she influence Seb’s new life?
