Slater was 30 years old when he was mistakenly turned into a vampire, and while learning how to use his new powers, he develops a romantic interest in his drunken 400 year old master, Langston Newbury. Unfortunately, the vampire refuses to reciprocate his feelings, stating that their age gap is far too big. Things get even more uncomfortable when Langston starts trying to set him up with monsters his own age. --- Slater is usually level headed, but can be immature and impulsive at times. Langston can be charismatic but likes to hide his feelings behind a bottle. Shenanigans ensue!

| ManxMan | - Historical Fiction - Strong SEXUAL Content | Tossed aside for his sexual preferences, a young lord is abandoned by his family. But, he isn't alone for long as a towering, rather intimidating and...handsome man happens upon him at the lowest point in his life. However, this man doesn't look upon him with judgment in his eyes. There is a sort of unspoken sympathy, and it shows itself well enough when he is swept off his feet and taken to the man's home. Untouched, unjudged and given a place to stay, this young lord will come to find he's been given a second chance. But he's afraid. Of what? (This story is based on a character introduced in 'The Beauty of Coincidence'. You don't need to read that one, but a piece of useful information would be that Edgar works for someone named Norman Ramsey, a man who has accepted that his own son is gay (he is not homophobic even though it's the 1820s, and Edgar is extremely loyal to the name of Ramsey). Enjoy!)
