In a post-apocalyptic future, the world has become a vast and barren desert where life barely survives. Bandits, demons, cyborgs, machines, and twisted mutants threaten what remains of humanity, along with hunger, thirst, scorching heat, and disease.

Longwei is a half-dragon boy who dreams of forming a Sentai team to protect people and bring back the lost heroism and hope. To achieve this, he travels the world in search of the Heavenly Jewels, five relics containing the power of the Five Sacred Beasts and the five elements of the wuxing.

On his journey, he is joined by Feifeng, a hot-headed and greedy archaeologist-engineer who scavenges lost pre-cataclysm technology.
