"Julia! Jules! Are you okay?" A familiar voice calls out from behind the girl, leaning against the van.
"Y-yes. I'm fine, Dale, I think." Julia stutters as she touches her forehead, then stares at the blood covering her fingers.
"Oh my God, Julia. We have to clean this up. You're not reporting anything. Do you feel okay? After everything today, take a break." He rambles, looking at his best friend and colleague.
As they stare at each other, Julia thinks about all the time she has spent with Dale, working with him in the Newsroom.
"Dale! You're on in 5!" Tim's voice calls out loudly.
Suddenly, Julia rises up on her tip toes, and her lips lock with Dale's.
"Go, Dale. Go and be the best reporter I know that you are. I love you."

Melbourne, Australia, 1986.
News at six, the busy newsroom where the famous Newsreaders Helen Norville and Geoff Walter report their stories. This year, the Newsroom is going to undergo a series of changes.
Two junior reporters, Dale Jennings and Julia Anderson, have known each other since college and now work together in the newsroom. When Dale is assigned the position to be Helen's producer, Julia joins him, which draws them even closer.
Now, Dale and Julia are working together, along with Helen, to report the most important news of the year to all of Melbourne. All the while, Dale and Julia realized that they wanted to be more than just friends.
Will the two reporters be able to hide their relationship from the Newsroom and public eye, or will the reputations that are set get in their way?

Have your parents ever threatened to "sell you to the Gypsies"?!..... well that is EXACTLY what happened to Nurani Bella-Cyra when she was a child.... she was given to a woman who had one son who was born mute.... she and the boy grew up thinking that they were actually brother and sister and were the best of friends.... the ONLY friends that they EVER had.... a few years later everything changed.... the boys mother dies and they were left to fend for themselves.... they only had each other.... that is until a few officers found the young boy scrounging for food in the forest that they ended up calling home.... the boy ended up being sent to an orphanage and Nurani ended up being found by Charles Townsend not to long after.... seeing how lonely and worried she felt from the separation of her and the boy Charles used his pull with many agencies to find out what happened to him.... once found Charles took her to see the boy at the all boys orphanage then after that first meeting she began sneaking in to see the boy at night.... much to the nuns distaste.... as adults Nurani and the boy once again live together taking care of one another as they once did long ago....
There is one thing that live within these two.... something that they believe must stay buried as deep within themselves as it can be buried.... a burning love that because they believe they are related they cannot bring out.... but that's ok right?!.... after all they in one form or another once again have each other.... just not in the way they want too....
