Zoey and Mira turn their backs on Rumi after her patterns are exposed. After all - what good is a hunter who is part demon? Alone, Zoey and Mira fight through the rest of the plot without Rumi, but they never kill Gwi-ma, or create the perfect honmoon.
8 months later, the weak honmoon begins to falter - it's not strong enough without Rumi. They seek out her help again - but finding her will prove tough. So will seeing who she is with now...
