Piano prodigy Riley April dominated the competition and has become famous among child musicians. After her mother, who was also her instructor died, she had never been able to see a piano the same way, resulting in a mental breakdown at a recital when she was 11. Five years later, Riley hasn't touched the piano and views the world in grey, without any colour or flair to it. She has resigned herself to only being with her friends and her hearing is still perfectly fine. Until one day, James Cabbet, a freestyle drummer, breaks that mold and shows her that music should be fun and free, and also steals her heart. After... Nothing is the same.
