One moment, I was just another nobody in a car accident. The next, I woke up in a hospital bed...hearing voices. Not the creepy kind. Not hallucinations. Real voices. Thoughts that didn't belong to me. Turns out, I can hear what people are thinking. Yeah-mind reading. Telepathy. Whatever you want to call it. Suddenly, boring, average me wasn't so ordinary anymore. High school drama? Easy. Crushes? Complicated. Secrets? Way too many. High school isn't about fitting in-it's about staying sane. Because the more I listen, the more I realize... some minds aren't meant to be heard. And the voices? They aren't the only thing following me. Powers like this? They come with a price. And I'm starting to think the voices in my head aren't the worst part. Something darker is coming. And time might be the only thing that reveals what I've really woken up to. I only ever met one man I'd call truly noble. He was a man who was misunderstood and worthy of the world, yet everyone saw him differently. That was until I saw his true colours. The more I caught his eye the more he noticed me. We would pass each other, I would always stare a little longer at his back, wondering his story. People used to move out of the hallways if they saw him approaching whereas people would come and talk to me. He kept to himself, I was never alone, he had no friends, I was friends with everyone, I never saw him talk to anyone I spoke to many. we were polar opposites. At least that's what I thought until that day in the library, that is where I will start this story. Everyone is different, I hate the word "different", I much prefer the word unique. Unique is the only way to describe him. This is not just a story about love, it is about helping two souls who act differently but are the same on the inside, it shows the messy parts that aren't shown in movies, the tragedy, and the comedy but most of all the sizzling romance between two broken people who became one. Who is this story about? Caden James. But this is not just his story, It is ours.
