The human kingdom of Arrenara has been locked in a cold war with the fae kingdom of Runewood for a very long time. When the human princess Helena is summoned by her father to assist in the torture of a fae prisoner, she soon learns that not everything is as it seems.
Helena ends up being taken prisoner by the fae and is forced to cross the border into their realm, where she soon learns who her real enemy is.
Along the journey, she starts to feel drawn to Rhaegar, the former fae prisoner, forming a tentative bond with him.
She comes across blood fae, morvex (tortured fae who a only driven by rage), cruel warlords and a fae queen who wants nothing more than the world to bow to her will.
This is the first book in a duology. A Kingdom's Cure is fully finished with 43 chapters and ~105,000 words. I will release 2 chapters each week on a Wednesday and a Friday.
