For the capital crime of murder, an Accuser must formally bring the charge against the one party they believe to be responsible. At random, a citizen must then fill his or her civic duty and judge the Accused, carrying out the punishment-an execution in the same manner of death that the victim suffered-by the end of the trial. There is no room for wrong judgement and, as history shows, once someone is Accused, execution is the kindest and most just answer. Raised to be a pacifist, the newest Judge cannot fathom the course of action he must take against a so-called criminal who seems to be the only person ever wrongfully Accused.
