Whispers Through the Storm

Millennium have passed since the times of the supposed 'better future' and the world has plunged into eternal storm. The corrupt government has developed technology to overtake the surface cities with a forever rain storm, causing the flooding of other nations and countless islands. It is in this dark time a ring of supposed traitors and freedom fighters rally to bring down the government and free it's tortured citizens. In this time, the humans have created artificial limbs and body parts known as exo-limbs. Their creators are unknown, but in order to prevent the limbs becoming property of the government, the technicians of this trade now live deep underground in the buried city of Exlia. The leader of the rebel ring is Lillian Reever, responsible for the murdering high authority figures and smuggling illegal weapons, along with plotting to overthrow the government. Her co-leader is Andrew Wenham, likewise and just as dangerous.
