catalina and cris were initially known to dislike each other, not to the level of hatred, but it was clear they weren't fond with one another.
when one developed a desire for the other, the feelings weren't returned by the other. though, once the other finally evolved those feelings back, it was too late.
this led to the back and forth unspoken longing of the two teens, who wanted nothing more than to finally be loved by each other.
they almost surrendered, until it was up to either of them to act upon the intense pining the two of them silently carried.
