Error is just so done since he and Ink had been through the same routine of battles, truces, and betrayals over and over. The X event had almost caused a Multiverse RESET, but thankfully, things were back to normal.
However, he hated it.
His life was not some game to entertain Fate's brat, and he is not a toy. So he just sets himself in the middle of the council meeting room and refuses to do his job. Let these idiots try and blame him now when they can watch him. Ink isn't getting away with his shit this time.

*OLD VERSION* Healing What Has Been Broken

They are the balance in their part of the Multiverse, making sure that neither goes to far and makes their Multiverse fall apart at the seams. If Error was able to destroy all the AU's, then there would be nothing left. The universe that they live in would just cease to exist with nothing to fill it up. That is why Ink is needed, to make sure that there is something to fill in those blank spaces, to make sure that there is life. If Ink was able to continue to create with no one to stop him or oppose him, then the AU's would collide and destroy one another. The universe would crumble and decay as they touch, as there is no more room to grow in. That is why Error is needed, to make sure that the AU's don't collide and kill one another, to make sure that there is room to grow in. Error knew this well, even with his spotty and vague memories. Ink did not. Error was broken and tired. He had nothing to live for in the end. He had no friends, no love to call his own, no family. No one wanted him around. He called for help, for anyone to save him from his own madness. But no one came. They left him in the Anti-Void, for the screams to over take him. So Error let go. He fell into the void to be scattered across time and space. No one would miss him. But he did not scatter, he traveled through time and space. Error landed in a new Multiverse. One where there was no Error. All AU's lived in balance in this universe. There was no creator who could not control himself and just create more and more. There was no destroyer who had to destroy. By the time Error's universe knew what they did wrong and the truth of the matter, their universe was falling apart and they had to get back Error to do his job. (Old) Parasitic Lover (Yandere! Fresh x Error)
Finally Giving up on his quest to rid the multiverse of it's Aus, Error decides to just stick to the anti-void and ignore the problems of everyone else and to try and enjoy his solitude (although ultimately failing at this). On the other hand, Fresh has also given up, but not in the same way Error has. He has given up being the nice guy and has taken to corrupting Aus in his rage at how unfair it was that they could live their happy lives, while the only emotions he was starting to feel were negative. One day, Fresh decided that he needed something new in his life, so he decided to go to the only place in the multiverse that he has never gone before, the Anti-void. By complete chance he ends up in the exact same place as Error and their worlds suddenly collide. Ink teased her about it and they had became friends leading to Error telling him the whole truth. They end up getting together, and something happens. When something is happening what if the council made an evil plan, that they had no idea was evil happen. All I can say is after it happened it practically hurt Inks nonexistent soul. He had long since accepted his job as a destroyer and understood his vital purpose in the system of the multiverse, but when he visits a mysteriously abandoned AU for the second time, something about it makes him feel....off. When a sudden implosion of an AU wrecks havoc and almost destroys the entire Multiverse, he is forced to find out the cause of this chaos...and how it all seems to tie back to the very same AU that was filled with ash and misery. He never fully understood why he himself had been made to be the Destructor of Worlds, but the secrets inside the world "Ashentale" may help him discover that there might have been a Multiverse before his Multiverse existed. "Wings Of War" they would call it, but this would be a reunion to have both their memories back to how they were when they truly first met. The blurred out memories were actual events that happened between him and Error. And Ink wasn't the only one seeing them. Error had been seeing them, too. Lucifer Morningstar was Error's father, in which who erased his memories of the angel. Who now had the body of a mortal. Become Mine And Mine Alone
(REWRITE OF THIS BOOK IS UP! It is called "Obsessive Love".) (I do not own the cover, Undertale nor any of the characters besides my OC's, they belong to their respectful owner. For some reason, I just see Error in the front instead of passive Nightmare.) Error, Forced God of Destruction and Destroyer of Universes was largely unknown unlike Ink, the Creator and God of Creation. Their fights were unseen by the AU's, none of the Monsters knowing about the Destroyer as Ink doesn't want them scared and Error gave no shits if anyone knew him or not. But Error's job is a complicated one, one that he is forced into, and he has to get involved to destroy the worlds. He doesn't touch the Original AU's, but the copies that Ink makes have to go. It was only a matter of time before something happened. Ink, in a middle of one of their fights, blinded Error, hurting him much more badly then ever before. In panic, Error ported into one of the Original AU's. Ink, fearing what Error would do, tells Dream about the Destroyer. Now the hunt is on for the broken, blinded skeleton. Meanwhile a blinded Error has been taken under the wing of another powerful Monster who has fallen for the broken Destroyer at first sight. But sweet love is truly beyond him. It is a obsessive love, a unhealthy love unlike any other. Nightmare would do anything for Error, and would do anything to keep him by his side as he goes about taking over all the AU's. {Short, completed story} Error, hated by Fate from the start, had enough. In a battle with Ink, he lost for the first time and was tied up. Ink, confused why Error destroyed Au's asked why he did so, threatening him with death. But Error scoffed and refused to answer as Ink, naive as he was would never understand and was killed without struggling, embracing death with open arms. That's when he woke up to something strange and met a mysterious person who had saved him and said that she'd give him a better life, another chance.
