There were humans when I was young. There were big, burly Vikings who could break stone boulders with their skulls. Little, scrawny humans who were smarter than the rest, using inventions to their advantage. There were those who traveled the seas in hopes of finding uncharted lands. And there were those who hunted dragons such as myself with the hopes of riches... or conquest.

But now? We've left. Hidden under the sea and stone, where only the few who are left that believe of our existence. It's once said that when the ground quakes, or lava spews from the earth, that the time is soon for our return to the surface. Whether that means peacefully or not is unknown to me.
