VIVIENNE CREST was born for the Hunger Games. Raised in the wealth and luxury of District 1, she had spent her life training to be the Capitol's perfect tribute-strong, ruthless, and unstoppable. When the 2nd Quarter Quell calls her name, she steps forward without fear, ready to claim the victory she was promised.

But then, the unthinkable happens.

HAYMITCH ABERNATHY, a boy from District 12 who never planned to be a tribute, is reaped alongside her. He has no weapons, no sponsors, no strategy-just sharp wit and an even sharper defiance that infuriates and intrigues her in equal measure. The Capitol expects him to die quickly, just another forgotten name in the bloodstained meadow.

Only, he refuses.

As the arena twists around them, rules shatter, alliances break, and survival is no longer about strength alone. The Capitol's grip tightens, forcing Vivienne to make an impossible choice-one that will change everything she thought she knew about victory, loyalty, and herself.
Because winning the Games was always the goal.
She never expected to question if she wanted to win at all.
And she never expected Haymitch Abernathy.

[SEQUEL TO 'BEHIND THOSE VIOLET EYES'] It is said that once one is crowned victor of the Hunger Games, they never have to return to the arena. Every twenty-five years, there is a change in the Games for that year only. These special years are called Quarter Quells... and for this year's Quell, the Capitol has created something beyond anyone's imagination. For the seventy-fifth annual Hunger Games, the tributes will be Reaped out of their District's own pool of victors... And only two can win if they are from the same District... Cyra Merison, Alia Fletson, Cato Demeir, and Gale Hawthorne are all Reaped back into the Games for another year to participate in the bloodbath. And this year, not all of them will have the odds in their favour. For Cyra, this year is especially horrific. Not only is she Reaped back into something she loathes, but is also forced to marry someone she hates under the power of President Frost. Alia, on the other hand, takes her Career training to a whole new level and proves to everyone she intends on winning. And with the 'sudden' death of head Gamemaker Seneca Crane, President Frost takes control of the Games this year. He makes it clear to all of Panem who his favourite tributes are... And if the citizens are smart, they will bet on them as well. The tributes will be forced to fight harder than ever if they wish to win. Because, in the end, only the strong will survive.

The 150th Annual Hunger Games

62 parts Complete

Another Quarter Quell has arrived! This year, the Quell demands something that the Districts have never done... The first tribute reaped in each District has to choose who will be accompanying them in the Arena. However, the person they choose must still be eligible for the Games. Who will be reaped? Who will they choose as their District partner? What strange and exciting twists will the Arena hold this year? Who will win... *This book has nothing to do with my other Hunger Games book, The 125th Annual Hunger Games. It's just another Quell idea I had. BUT I would advise reading my other book first because there are a few spoilers mentioned in this book that have to do with The 125th Annual Hunger Games! ALSO, I'm sorry if someone has already used this idea or if you find something in it that's similar to your own book! If so, it's purely a coincidence. *All rights go to Suzanne Collins. *Updates are VERY often! I usually only go no longer than three days on my updates. With my last book, I updated sometimes two chapters a day, so yeah! Enjoy! :)
