The city of Fontaine continued to thrive below, its people moving forward. But Furina remained frozen, trapped in a past that no longer existed. Neuvillette, however, did not pity her. "You have carried this burden alone for centuries," he said quietly. "It is only natural to feel unmoored now that it has been lifted." She scoffed lightly, though there was no real malice in it.
