The Lion Guard... a group sworn to protect the circle of life. One day the leader, Kion, was attacked during a stampede. He was at the brink of dead with little life within him. But upon waking up with a scar on his left eye, Kion experience mood changes, which could affect his leadership and choices. Determined get cured, Kion and the Lion Guard seeked a place for healing. Upon arrival Kion and the Lion Guard realized they'd found a new place to call home. But there's an end to every peace with disaster striking.
Will Kion find love? What enemy will they encounter? Will new friends come along the way? Will there be magic? Blood will be shed.

*Kion and Rani have never met in this story* Kion is the son of Simba and Nala, King and Queen of The Pridelands. Kion is always depressed. Nobody knows why, including his best friend Bunga. Until one day, while trying to save his friend, Kion is seriously injured. Everyone thinks he died. But he survived. He knew he had to tell his family he was still alive. So, Kion walks back to Pride Rock, but while crossing a river, he accidentally loses his balance, and tumbles into the river, carrying him farther from his home. Soon, Kion washes up in the middle of nowhere. Trying to get back to his family, Kion stumbles upon a hurt lioness while on his journey back to the Pride Rock. Her name is Rani. She told Kion about her tragic past, and so Kion asks Rani to join him in his journey back to Pride Rock. She agrees. During the time they ventured together, he soon began to have feelings for her.
