as a child, i was absolutely obsessed with miraculous ladybug. i had a youtube channel dedicated to it, tikki plushies everywhere, and watched the show nonstop. now, as a nursing student, miraculous is still close to my heart, especially since it's still airing new episodes. but as i've grown, i've started to see the show through a different lens and realized that what i truly want is a darker, more mature version-one with older characters, real character development, and some deep plot twists.

in this rewrite, i aim to fix the things that never quite sat right with me, like marinette's stalker-ish tendencies, chloe's redemption arc that never really went through, and chat noir being stuck in the role of the sidekick. instead, i'll take you through a reimagined miraculous where the plot takes different turns, characters face real consequences, and we take a deeper dive. it's all rather slowburn, including the romance.
