Aarush is a 28-year-old reporter with a problem. His family's planning an arranged marriage for him, but he's already got a crush on a girl in the tech department. But she doesn't even know he exists! So, he needs TIME to woo her, not an arranged marriage. So, what does he do? He pulls the classic Indian-guy-with-strict-parents move: pretend he's gay.
And who's gonna be his fake boyfriend? His frenemy, of course! Meet Nisith, a junior editor with a beef against Aarush's lack of brain and punctuality. Nisith even agrees to help Aarush woo his crush. But when fake dating gets involved, will they stick to the plan? (Spoiler: Hell no.)

How Not to Kidnap a Guy by selestewrites143
31 parts Ongoing Mature
[𝐁𝐱𝐁, 𝐑𝐎𝐌-𝐂𝐎𝐌] A rom-com about a wannabe gangster who accidentally kidnaps a runaway groom, leading to chaos and romance as they team up to kidnap the intended target... but their journey becomes way more than kidnapping that guy. "𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭." ➽───────────────❥ Sharav is a wannabe gangster who just wanted to prove he could be a real gangster. Kidnap a troublemaker, impress his gangster father, and boom--respect secured. Except... he kidnaps Harsh, a runaway groom, instead. Oops. Harsh isn't even mad. In fact, he's grateful that Sharav kidnapped him because a bunch of goons from the bride's family are after his head. So, Harsh offers to help Sharav find his real target as a "return help". But between chases, weird alliances, and a growing connection, Sharav wonders if Harsh was the right guy all along--for his heart. ➽───────────────❥ 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: This isn't meant to reflect any part of real life and is purely a work of fiction, including the violence-filled towns and many other norms in this story. I've created them to create a suitable universe in which my story can be set. Also, beware: all characters in this "universe" are low-key idiots (because idiots are integral for romance COMEDIES in my opinion, lol). *Updates every MONDAY and THURSDAY!* (don't believe me) ➽───────────────❥
